Blue Ox outshoot Havoc 47-13 to score 15th win

The Havoc jumped out to a 1-0 first period lead in the Sunday matinee game. On a quick pass from Nikiforov, Oskari Halme skated back around the Havoc’s net and stuffed the puck in to knot up the game at 18:58 of the first period.

Moving into the second, the Blue Ox got off to a quick start when Halme passed the puck over to Philip Schader who circled around the defender and shot one passed the goalies right glove to make the score 2-1. Nearly half way through the second, on the power play, Perret and Halme both fired shots on goal and Orlando Scherz grabbed the rebound and flipped the puck passed the goalie who was way out of the net. Next on a side to side pass from Cobb and Kause, Orlando Scherz scores on a sneaky under the leg shot to make the score 4-1 at the end of the second period.

Coming from the defensive zone, Ciolek and Emery passed the puck back and forth before passing it over to Gunnar Gibbs who shot one way out near the blue line to tally the last Blue Ox goal of the night. The Minnesota Blue Ox scored their 15th win of the season after their 5-2 win over the Hudson Havoc.

Brady Boudreau carried the win, in net, for the Minnesota Blue Ox and blocked 11 shots on goal from the Havoc. Boudreau now has an overall save percentage of .904 and has blocked 216 shots on goal in just nine games.

The Blue Ox head back home for two games on November 17th and 18th and will travel to Blaine to face off against the Minnesota Moose on Sunday, November 19th.
